A favourite moment in all of our pop-ups is when we pull back the canvas for our guests and watch their reaction as they set eyes on the hotel for the first time. We're aiming for a 'Wow'. We want our guests to have a memorable time with us and so we try to make every aspect of your stay really special. As well as great facilities, we know that a big part of that is creating a cool, relaxing and attractive environment.

Designer and owner of The Garden Party Company, Debbie Woodbridge leads on our interiors and helps us come up with spaces that are comfortable, welcoming and stylish - a place you want to spend time in and that you look forward to getting back to when you want to relax, enjoy a drink, or some social time. Debbie loves NOT camping and has spent many summer weekends glamping with friends; filling her car with rugs, duvets, fur throws, bedside tables… so she knows how to make a space feel cosy and special.. however the short the stay!

"When I go to a festival I want a fun, safe, cosy space to come back to after a long crazy day in the festival. Somewhere with a cosy ambience and a good vibe where we can sit and laugh about our day and share experiences with fellow festival goers before having a decent night’s sleep."

In terms of style, Debbie's inspiration is rustic with a dash of fun creative stuff for a festival feel. Using as many suppliers local to Somerset as possible, she uses plants, twinkle lights, cosy throws and rustic bits and pieces to build up the look we think suits us best.

Brand new for our pop-up during Glastonbury this year is the A&J Lounge; Great British sofa designers Alexander & James will debut their Boutique Summer Festival Collection, showcasing sofas, chairs and footstools curated by Creative Director Michelle Hoines-White in the great British festival spirit. The exclusive collection reflects their love of the British countryside and features mix and match patterns and textures such as velvet and linen in quirky florals, colour pop accents and the hottest neutral - grey. Their look is a perfect match for our interiors style and we're sure the lounge will be a favourite place for guests to sit back and relax. The lounge will also feature at our pop-up for Cornbury Music Festival in July.
